Splint and Orthoses

We offer custom splints/orthoses that will be fabricated by a hand therapist. In collaboration with your doctor, your hand therapist will create a splint wearing protocol. The material used is called thermoplastic, which is a low heat malleable plastic that will contour to your body and harden. Your therapist will ensure that the splints fit well and are comfortable. Adjustments will be made to accommodate for changes in treatment protocols, swelling and motion throughout your rehabilitation.
