Hand Therapy

What is hand therapy?
 
Hand therapy is a specialization within occupational and physical therapy that focuses on upper extremities. Hand therapy includes the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. Our hand therapy department is run by board certified hand therapists (CHT). Hand therapists have extensive education, training, and knowledge in orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation. Treatments include preventative, non-operative and post surgical interventions. Your hand therapist will work closely with you and your physician to develop a treatment program to reach your goals.
